Automatic Bogie Cleaning Plant
Nowadays Efficient testing, maintenance and servicing of Railway bogies are possible after they have been cleaned in advance. Long service times and the large distances covered by the trains leave huge amounts of soiling, such as encrustations, grease and brake dust, etc., on the Rail bogies & other parts.
Our Automatic Rail Bogie washing plants are specifically designed to automatically wash and rinse transit car and locomotive bogies/trucks (without traction motors) moving on their own wheels, in various states of disassembly. The cleaning media used is aqueous degreasing systems which is eco-friendly.
In our Bogie Washer design we are using reciprocating spray manifolds to travel throughout the whole chamber so that while spraying the stationary workpiece from all directions by hot water at temperature of 65 -70 degrees & by means of high pressure pump with high volume. The Alkaline /Detergent contains low concentration of heavy-media about 2-3% mixing with he washing tanks.
After High Pressure spray washing, Hot water Rinse with with rust inhibition are available, followed by compressed air blow-off . These cleaning systems use exclusive spray manifold design, so that the Nozzle arrangements are placed which covers all four sides of Bogie & retracts back for the entire length of the workpiece. Here effective cleaning of all surfaces will be done.
Depending on contamination level of Bogie, the system can clean up to 8 bogies per eight -hour shift. In addition to that we are providing trolley attachment so that our bogie washers can also clean truck/bogie frames without wheels, as well as various other components..
